A monster lives in the sewer underground and watches people out the drainage grate. ONe day a small boy gets lost down there and meets this monster, after a period of uncertinty the pair create a bond, only to be broken by the police when they come to find him. Will the sewage monster make the right choice?
After discovering a 'nearby' habitable planet, mankind makes its first attempt to colonize another planet. Near lightspeed travel means that the first settlers can get there in under 20 years.
